We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Visiting Oboe Teacher (VMT) to teach at our exceptional school. Teaching will primarily be in one-to-one lessons but may occasionally include small groups or ensembles.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as both a performer and educator across all levels, with the ability to teach and inspire students from beginners to post-Grade 8. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons that students enjoy and feel inspired by their musical journey.

This is a part-time role on a self-employed basis, and it is anticipated that there will be approximately one morning’s teaching available initially, with the opportunity to grow student numbers within a supportive department. Applicants should have flexibility with their teaching hours and availability to increase their lesson count if demand increases. Our Visiting Music Teachers are responsible for managing their own teaching schedules whilst taking into consideration other school commitments, with support available from the Director of Music.
