The University of Law in Manchester Campus is seeking a Visiting Lecturer to join our academic team. You will deliver postgraduate and undergraduate courses in the Business School, providing high-quality tuition and assessments to a diverse student body.

Reporting to the Academic Manager, you will mark assessments, support students, handle queries, and adapt to different learning styles and course delivery methods while sharing your professional expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business and/or management or professional qualifications (accountancy/CFA).
• Experience teaching in Higher Education.
• Excellent knowledge of academic theory and/or business practice.
• Confident and articulate presentation skills.
• Ability to be flexible and respond to changing priorities in a busy environment.
• Punctual with good time management and workload prioritisation.

Responsabilités

Description du poste

We are currently looking for a Visiting Lecturer to join our academic team in our centrally located Manchester Campus.

We are interested in hearing from applicants from a Healthcare Management background.

Reporting to our Academic Manager, you will be providing tuition across the University of Law Business School course portfolio. These will include delivering postgraduate and undergraduate BSc courses to the best possible standard.

You will enjoy being challenged (by students and course content in equal measure) and be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students and methods of course delivery. You will be eager to share your expertise, and the role will include marking in-course assignments and final assessments, as well as supporting students and dealing with queries.

As a Visiting Lecturer You Will

• Teach and assess across The University of Law Business School course portfolio in such subjects as may be assigned to you. This will include teaching and assessing students across a range of written and presentation skills and giving individual feedback on students’ performances.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who Are/have

• Master’s degree (in the business and/or management subjects offered in the Business School) or professional qualifications (i.e qualified accountant or CFA)
• Experience in teaching in Higher Education and working in an educational establishment
• Organised and can prioritise their own workload
• Excellent knowledge of academic theory and/or business practice in relevant discipline.
• Confident and articulate presentation skills
• Ability to be flexible and to respond to changing priorities in a busy environment
• Punctual, good time management and prioritisation of workload
