Job summary

Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, the producing theatre serving Outer East London and South Essex, is seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation toward its 75th anniversary.

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will set strategic direction, ensure financial resilience, artistic excellence, and a supportive culture while growing partnerships with Arts Council England, local authorities and communities across Havering, Outer East London and South Essex.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and financial management: develop long-term plans, financial strategies and environmental targets while maximising income across commercial activities.
• Artistic and community alignment: supervise programming, lead in-house and co-productions and keep community engagement central to the theatre.
• Governance and stakeholder advocacy: act as Company Secretary, ensure statutory compliance and maintain relations with Arts Council England and local/national partners.
