WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a great opportunity to join our Body In White department at Solihull. You will ideally have experience in Vision Systems, Camera Inspection, commissioning new vision equipment, and if you have a background in Quiss, Isra, or Coherix, that would be beneficial for the role. Previous experience in robotics would also be highly desirable, as this role involves reprogramming robotic systems. The term Coherix appears frequently in the job description, but training on this will be provided.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Undertake training in the use of Coherix Predator 3D i-Cite software to enable you to commission, program, and maintain the inline vision systems.
• Undertake training related to the Coherix hardware, specifically concerning the communication path between the camera and the ABB robot.
• Assist with the initial commissioning of the Coherix 3D inline vision systems.
• Analyze the results of system setups, make amendments, and react to any process changes during production runs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Previous experience with adhesive systems in engineering.
• Experience in robotics programming or vision systems programming.
• Background or experience in engineering and concept development.
• One of the following qualifications: Indentured Apprenticeship, Craftsman Certificate, or a Level 3 qualification such as BTEC, NVQ, OCR Cambridge Nationals, or National Diploma.
