We are looking for a Senior Quality NDT Inspector to join our F1 Team in Faenza, Italy.
Reporting to the NDT Team Leader, as a Senior Quality NDT Inspector, you will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, ensuring components traceability, managing NCRs and CRs, and supporting track fault investigations.
Structural NDT Inspections, Non-Conformities and Concession Requests
- Perform structural NDT inspections on components (both on new components and during in-life service) to verify structural integrity;
- Conduct inspections both in the factory and during external events (including Race Team, Test Team, and DO/R&D events);
- Manage Non-Conformities (NCR) and Concession Requests (CR) raised by the Reliability Department, Design Office, and Race Team;
Traceability
- Ensure traceability of all NDT inspections performed, adhering to procedures shared by the Quality Department and other supported departments;
- Ensure that all internal departments are informed and understand details regarding structural issues with components;
- Support the Production Department by performing structural NDT inspections during the production process.
Experience
- Technical high school diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of experience (motorsport or automotive companies preferred).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings with expertise in precision mechanics, materials, and material treatments.
- Specific NDT qualifications for composite and metallic materials and components (MT method - level 2; PT method - level 2; UT method - level 2; VT method - level 2).
- Experience with Computed Tomography (Scanning and Data Analysis).
- Familiarity with composite manufacture techniques and materials.
- Proficiency with standard bench tools: micrometer, vernier, gauge blocks, roughness meter, hardness meter, profilometer, etc.
- Experience working with external suppliers.
- Understanding of non-conformity management and traceability concepts.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
- Proficiency in English (B1 level).
- High flexibility, including availability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends.
- Proactive attitude and strong pressure/stress management skills.
- Willingness to travel for business, both within Italy and abroad.
