Virus Production Shift Technician

CK Group is recruiting for a Virus Production Shift Technician to join a global animal health company based in Pirbright on a contract basis for 6 months.

Salary:
GBP17.48 per hour PAYE (inside IR35)

Virus Production Shift Technician Role:

1. The role involves practical manufacturing operations, aseptic techniques, and offers opportunities to develop various skills.
2. Participate in the manufacture of bulk inactivated virus antigen, adhering to UK and company Biosafety, EHS, and GMP standards.
3. Perform cleaning, decontamination, and steam sterilization of vessels and equipment following SOPs.
4. Ensure department batch record documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with GDP.
5. Manage stock levels and ensure equipment is cleaned and autoclaved sterilized.
6. Operate in Grade A/B clean room environments, performing aseptic manufacturing.

Your Background:

• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work methodically and accurately within tight timelines.
• Experience in Good Documentation Practice.
• Experience in industrial pharmaceutical production in a regulated environment.
• Good IT skills, preferably with experience in SAP/GBS.
• Experience working in GMP environments.
