Virtual SEN Teachers are required for a secondary school based in the Morpeth area, which we are working with as a company. The school has a short-term need for additional community teachers until the end of the academic year.
This role involves working both in the community and on our school sites to teach pupils who are unable to attend school due to mental health difficulties. This will involve supporting them to engage with tasks, including academic work, and build positive relationships with staff. The aim is to build confidence, resilience, and trust to help pupils return to school.
The teacher needs to be able to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils to deliver their bespoke programme of support. They need to be able to develop and build positive working relationships with pupils, their families, and other members of the community teaching team.
This full-time role will start in June 2025 and end in July 2025. The secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
