Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate to ensure high-quality education and positive transitions for post 16-aged Looked After Children
• Monitor progress and quality assure Personal Education Plans (PEPs)
• Act as the main contact for post 16 provisions, offering expert advice on admissions, attendance, transitions, NEET prevention and engagement
• Drive improvements in educational outcomes into adulthood through collaboration with post 16 provisions, social care and multi-agency partners
• Demonstrate knowledge as an education specialist to influence practice and promote stability and progress
• Show strong organisational skills and commitment to corporate parenting, with ability to lead training for professionals working with Looked After Children
