The Virtual Respiratory Specialist will play an important role in supporting the adoption of innovative therapies within the respiratory disease area through high-quality remote engagement with healthcare professionals across the UK. Working primarily through digital channels, the individual will build trusted customer relationships, deliver educational and clinical information, and support healthcare professionals in improving patient outcomes in chronic respiratory conditions.

The role requires strong communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare professionals across Primary Care and Secondary Care using virtual platforms. The Virtual Respiratory Specialist will execute customer engagement plans, identify opportunities to support clinical practice, and deliver impactful interactions through digital channels including video calls, webinars, email, and telephone engagement.

Operating within a remote working environment, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with field-based colleagues and cross-functional teams to maximise customer reach, engagement, and value.

Responsibilities

The primary role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

• Deliver high-quality virtual engagement with healthcare professionals across Primary Care and Secondary Care.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with GPs, Practice Nurses, Respiratory Nurses, Pharmacists, Consultants, and other relevant healthcare stakeholders.
• Support the achievement of sales and customer engagement objectives through planned virtual interactions.
• Deliver compliant, customer-focused conversations that support improved patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Utilise approved materials and clinical data to support evidence-based discussions within the respiratory therapy area.
• Execute customer engagement plans aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
• Use customer insights, CRM data, and analytics to identify opportunities for engagement and follow-up.
• Deliver virtual educational events, presentations, and product update sessions.
• Collaborate with field-based Respiratory Specialists to support customer coverage and account objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activity within CRM systems.
• Monitor customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to support continuous improvement.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with industry regulations, compliance standards, and company procedures.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of respiratory disease management, treatment pathways, and the healthcare environment.
• Utilise a range of digital communication channels to maximise customer reach and engagement.

Requirements

Education:

• Meets all legal requirements for pharmaceutical sales representatives within the UK.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline advantageous.

Skills & Experience:

• Pharmaceutical, healthcare, inside sales, or customer-facing commercial experience preferred.
