As a Virtual Repairs Surveyor, you will work across all Stonewater stock, remotely investigate and resolve a range of construction/building related defects using remote video technology. You will receive referrals from the Customer Services Centre (CSC) where they have been unable to resolve a customer query at first point of contact. You’ll work in collaboration with the CSC and Partners to continually review and challenge processes to improve customer experience, improve repairs diagnostic, increase first time resolution and drive contact to a digital platform to support Stonewater’s digital agenda.

You will take ownership and responsibility of a range of detailed repairs and maintenance enquiries, aiming to resolve customer enquiries quickly and efficiently and delivering an exceptional customer service. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to develop in the housing or repairs and maintenance sector.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of repairs and maintenance in a housing environment.
  • Have knowledge of building components, diagnosis of building defects, building/contract law and building regulations.
  • Have experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Have exceptional communication skills, able to communicate a wide range of information clearly and effectively and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Be a strong team player, able to work effectively in partnership with colleagues, managers, employees and stakeholders.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills including statistical and performance information analysis, demonstrating decision making capability.
  • Have a digital aptitude for new technology.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
