THE ROLE
Virtual Finance Function Assistant Manager - UK

Due to continuous growth, the VFF team are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager. Typically, you will collaborate with clients to understand their unique business challenges andplexities and provide a tailored range of accounting services and capture their greatest opportunities so they can focus on the areas of activity that matter most.
The role will be diverse in nature, we are looking for an individual who can draw upon their previous skills, knowledge and experience to be part of a finance team. Someone who isn't afraid of rolling up their sleeves to get involved in the day-to-day nitty-gritty accounting operations whilst also providing support to the wider team. A key element of the role will be reporting, ensuringpanies' financial statementsply with statutory requirements and industry standards. There will be elements of advising on business strategy, providingpanies with financial forecasts and preparing management accounts that show an accurate picture of business performance.
The role is client facing and will ideally suit an enthusiastic team player who embraces the use of cloud-based solutions to forge great client relationships and deliver distinct quality and value to our clients.

Purpose of the role/key responsibilities can include:

Provide a full range of accountancy services to a portfolio of clients, such as: Preparation of management reports Statutory reporting and review Building client relationships Audit liaison Cashflow and forecast modelling Be a key part one-off projects at the request of the client.

Manage resource requirements for yourself and juniors ensuring that the team has the support and skills to ensure an unrivalled client experience

Mentor, motivate and coach junior members of the team, aiding development of both technical and client management skills and identifying any training needs

Build strong and credible relationships to understand the clients' priorities at your peer level

Collaborate effectively, embrace diverse perspectives and work holistically with stakeholders including, different business areas, the wider professional network, and themunity

Develop a detailed knowledge of AAB's specialist services and actively identify opportunities for business development in response to our clients' needs

Experience and skill set required for the role:

Fully qualified with experience of working within practice or industry

A problem solver, bringing solutions, making rmendations, and driving implementation of agreed approach

Team player with the necessary interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Experience and skill set desired for the role:

Experience in utilising technology, cloud accounting software and implementing client-driven solutions
