Are you interested in finance, accounting, and economics? Have you ever wondered what careers are available in commercial/ business banking? River City Bank is hosting our Banking Academy learning program virtually this Spring!

Banking Academy is a unique opportunity to explore careers in commercial banking within an educational setting. Participants will discover how commercial banking impacts industries like clean energy project finance & commercial real estate. The program includes completing a case study on real-world loan requests and presenting your work to senior managers. This experience aims to show you the rewarding career and growth possibilities in business banking.

Attendees meet bi-weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays virtually.

The Virtual Banking Academy begins on Monday, March 30th, 2025. Sessions are held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to Noon Pacific Time.

Requirements

Banking Academy is for university students typically in their second or penultimate year of study. Candidates must have:

• Undergraduate major in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
