VIP / Exec I.T Support Technican - London - 5 Days a week in Office - £60k - £70k + Benefits.

The Job

IT Support Technician required to join a fast-paced, collaborative team in the energy sector. This is a full-time, office-based role in Central London, offering the opportunity to work closely with all parts of the business and contribute directly to IT operations and support.

We’re looking for someone hands-on, technically strong, and people-friendly to be the go-to support for IT issues across the London office. You’ll help keep things running smoothly — from fixing laptops to managing user access, liaising with service providers, and supporting technical data needs.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide day-to-day 1st and 2nd line support to internal users, including PCs, Macs, Office 365 tools, meeting room equipment, and networks.
  • Set up new users with IT accounts and access, support onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Monitor and maintain systems and networks — troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Manage access rights, IT equipment procurement, and hardware/software setup.
  • Act as a key point of contact for third-party service providers and suppliers.
  • Support office moves and ensure equipment is correctly configured and operational.
  • Help with the development of IT policies, standards, and security awareness.
  • Provide coaching and training on office apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Support the exploration & production (E&P) teams with technical data handling, including loading and organizing datasets and working with virtual data rooms.

About You

You’ll be someone who loves solving problems and helping others. You’re organised, proactive, and able to work independently when needed. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Good experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Excellent communication skills especially with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using and managing Office 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Happy working full-time in the London office.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Some E&P data experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • You’re tech-curious and keen to keep learning.
