An exciting opportunity has arisen at an NHS Trust in Dewsbury for an experienced trainer in Violence and Aggression Reduction. This full-time role involves delivering accredited personal safety training and developing courses based on feedback and evolving trends to ensure safety in the workplace.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Violence and Aggression Reduction Training team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. Based at our hospital in Dewsbury, the successful candidate will be an experienced trainer responsible for delivering accredited Violence and Aggression Reduction training programmes in personal safety to ensure the organisation meets its statutory obligations. The post holder will provide the workforce with specialist advice on personal safety and managing violence and aggression in the workplace. Responsibilities include delivering a range of physical intervention and breakaway courses to clinical and non-clinical staff, planning classes, delivering engaging training sessions using various learning approaches, and maintaining records for ESR. The post holder will also develop courses based on feedback, audits, and evolving trends, legislation, and guidance from external bodies like HSE/CQC and internal organisational standards.
