Job description
What difference will you make?

Help us reach more awareness and support people born with a heart condition by videoing our talks at our annual event.

1 in 10 people are born with a heart condition, some are really poorly, in heart failure or waiting for an organ transplant, having access to their community and being able to see and listen to these talks means they are part of that community and feel less isolated and alone. You can make a real difference by bringing this important information to them, to their homes – there is nothing like the power of video if you cannot get around.

What are we looking for?
  • Professional videography experience
  • Own recording and editing equipment and experience of working with a charity – a distinct advantage

Available on Saturday 6th June 2026 at the Clayton hotel, Leeds.

What will you be doing?

Somerville Heart Foundation seeks a professional videographer who has their own equipment and is available on 6th June 2026 in the Leeds area. We are holding our annual 'Hearts Together - Living with CHD' conference in Leeds and would love someone to record the talks (video and audio) in the morning, and record the workshops and topical discussions in the afternoon too. If you are a confident interviewer this is also an option. This will, inevitably, involve some editing afterwards in your own time/location.

We aim to include the recordings on our website for those that are not able to attend and would really appreciate your expertise. It is a great day and you will meet some lovely people, if this sounds like your thing, please do get in touch.
