About the role

We’re looking for a Videographer & Editor to join our in-house creative marketing team to reimagine and define the way we capture our content. We’re moving away from phone generated short form content and into a new era of distinctive, bold imagery to builds our brands presence online. We have three brands so you’ll need to switch between styles and manage multiple brand identifies simultaneously.

As our brands are rooted in vintage fashion, you’ll need a strong understanding of vintage style and an instinct for nostalgia driven storytelling.

As our Videographer & Editoryou will combine technical expertise with creative instinct to produce cinematic content. You should be confident throughout the entire creative process - from ideation, moodboarding, capturing and editing. Ultimately you will bring the creative vision to life on screen!

This is an extremely hands on role where you'll be working in a small team at the start of our creative journey - you'll be managing a busy filming schedule and editing large volumes of content ready for posting.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with our creative marketing team to translate ideas and references into final video edits ready for posting
  • Lead the technical side of filming - lighting, framing, lens choice, motion and composition
  • Direct on set, ensuring each shot aligns with the creative vision
  • Edit footage taking into consideration cinematic pacing, sharp transitions, dynamic sound design and purposeful use of music
  • Apply consistent colour grading and develop a visual tone unique to each brand
  • Create clean, distinctive on-screen typography and graphics that align with each brand
  • Experiment with new editing techniques and formats to keep us ahead of the curve
  • Maintain organised file systems and deliver projects on time ready for publishing

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience as a videographer and editor having worked on a varied range of creative projects
  • Proficiency inPremiere Pro,DaVinci Resolve orFinal Cut Pro
  • A strong understanding of lighting, colour theory and sound design
  • Experience withmotion graphicsortypography animationis an advantage
  • Confident managing end-to-end production, from shoot planning to posting
  • A portfolio that shows range in overall style and creative strategy
  • A genuine feel for vintage aesthetics and nostalgia
