As part of a larger project involving the building of a new chocolate factory and the transportation of the existing factory, Willie’s Cacao is seeking a part-time film/creative graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in shooting and editing content for a commercial F&B company.

The role primarily focuses on content creation for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok, with potential for long-form content on YouTube in the future.

The position requires a minimum of 1 day a week, split between onsite filming in Devon / Herefordshire and remote editing. Flexibility in scheduling is appreciated.

Responsibilities
  • Visit the existing site in Devon and the new site near Herefordshire weekly or bi-weekly to film content (both videos and stills) for social media channels.
  • Create high-quality, brief-led content (photos, videos, reels, stories) showcasing products, cooking, eating, storytelling around the factory move, and collaborations.
  • Edit and utilize existing image and film libraries.
  • Film and edit behind-the-scenes content, recipe tutorials, trend highlights, and possibly series-style reels.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to ensure timely content delivery aligned with the social media calendar.
Opportunity

This role aims to provide a student or graduate with industry experience, with the potential for a permanent part-time position. Learning opportunities include:

  • Collaborating with the Social Media Manager on content scheduling and availability.
  • Gaining insight into the company's strategic planning, scheduling, and social media posting processes.
  • Understanding how communications, marketing, and sales departments work together and how creative assets are utilized.
  • Working directly with the founder on briefs.
  • Developing skills in social media strategy, brand management, copyrighting, product innovation, and F&B collaborations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • An interest in social media management, content creation, and/or film production.
  • Studied or currently studying Film at university (alternative creative courses considered with portfolio evidence of filming/editing skills).
  • Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Devon and more frequently to Herefordshire.
  • Previous interest or experience with high-quality food is beneficial but not required.

A flexible schedule to manage onsite filming days is necessary.
