Job summary

VaynerMedia is seeking a part‑time Shreditor (Shooter + Editor) for our APAC market, based in the Philippines. You will shoot, edit and craft platform‑native content, delivering engaging videos across social channels.

You’ll combine creative storytelling with strong technical skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, while mentoring junior creators under direction. This role emphasizes collaboration and fast turnaround times.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional creative experience across platforms (social, streaming, AR, music, film).
• Proven experience as a video shooter/editor in advertising/digital media.
• Solid understanding of lighting, framing, and audio capture.

Responsibilities

• Create platform-native content that connects with consumers and drives attention metrics.
• Shoot and edit compelling content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and others.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for multiple formats.
• Stay updated on trends, formats, and editing techniques to stay culturally relevant.
• Collaborate across teams on tight timelines and brainstorms.
• Mentor Creators and junior staff under senior leadership.

THE OPPORTUNITY / THE PITCH

Our amazing consulting team is looking forward to collaborating with a “people first” Shreditor in our growing APAC market. This is a part time role based in Philippines.

As a Shreditor (Shooter + Editor), you are a hybrid creative who can both capture and craft. You don’t just edit content - you create it from the ground up. You understand what performs on social, know how to shoot with intention, and bring ideas to life through thoughtful execution and platform-native storytelling.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES / THE TASK AT HAND

• Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by high attention metrics (likes, comments, shares, views, retention).

• Shoot and edit compelling, platform-native content across social channels.

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final videos, ensuring assets are optimized for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.**

• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, video formats, platform updates, and editing techniques to ensure work remains fresh, culturally relevant, and competitive in-feed.

• Collaborate effectively with teammates and cross-functional departments on rapid-fire requests and tight timelines.

• Attend creative brainstorms, kickoffs, and team meetings, contributing meaningful ideas and supporting performance-driven strategy.

• Mentor Creators and Creator Residents — and in some cases Art Directors and Copywriters — across the agency. Under the leadership of your A/CD, you help guide best practices in ideation and execution.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3–5 years of professional creative experience, with a demonstrable passion for creating content across a spectrum of platforms — social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.

• Proven experience as a video shooter/editor, preferably within advertising, digital media, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of video production fundamentals, including lighting, framing, and audio capture.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

• Strong end‑to‑end content creation capabilities — from concepting and shooting to editing and final delivery — with a passion for video and motion design.

• Responsible, accountable, and a self‑starter who demonstrates initiative.

• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally and drive positive results.
