THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Videographer to develop and execute engaging visual content across our social media, website, email, and other marketing channels. Above all the successful candidate will have a deep native understanding of the visual language of Instagram reels and be adept at delivering high engagement within the constraints of brand guidelines. This role combines strong creative flair with a deep understanding of luxury branding, visual identity, and digital trends. You will play a key role in shaping how Strathberry is seen and experienced online. The role will be primarily focused on video content, but ability in still capture is also highly desirable.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Edinburgh. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 fixed days required each week working from our beautiful Townhouse in Edinburgh City Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Concept, shoot and edit content optimised for platform-specific performance, that’s in tune with current content and social media trends, with a specific focus on and expertise in Instagram and TikTok
• Develop creative concepts and visual direction for content; storyboarding skills are a strong plus
• Collaborate closely with in-house creative, marketing, and e-commerce teams to align content with product launches, marketing calendars, and seasonal campaigns
• Attend photoshoots and events to capture authentic, brand-aligned content
• Develop compelling brand narratives and storytelling assets to support key launches and collaborations.
• Maintain brand consistency in tone, style, and aesthetic
• Post production of video including organisation and edit prep of video projects to help manage workload when required.
• Assisting both photography and videography departments across shoots

ABOUT YOU

To be a star candidate for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in content creation, ideally within fashion, beauty, or luxury retail
• Experience working with luxury or premium brands, with a strong understanding of the tone of voice and visual language that aligns with high-end positioning.
• Strong visual eye and editing skills (Davinci Resolve, Premier Pro or equivalent NLE. Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One)
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional videography, photography, and social-first creative execution
• Proactive, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for fashion, luxury, and design
• Strong understanding of working with both flash and constant LED lighting
• Driving license (preferred)
