We're expanding our UK team and seeking a talented Video Editor to produce high-quality, engaging short-form video content that drives performance across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
About The Role
Were looking for a Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an eye for digital storytelling, and a deep understanding of content trends. This role focuses on editing vlog-style, documentary-style, and social-first content that grabs attention, sparks engagement, and performs well on social media.
Youll work closely with our creative and strategy teams to transform raw footage into thumb-stopping videos, optimized for performance across channels. You must have a strong editing portfolio and be confident in creating content aligned with platform trends and brand tone.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
- Transform raw footage into dynamic, engaging stories tailored for social audiences.
- Collaborate with videographers, producers, and content creators to shape the final product.
- Optimize video edits for platform-specific algorithms and audience retention (e.g., pacing, thumbnail grabs, hooks).
- Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound design to enhance storytelling.
- Stay up-to-date with platform trends, content formats, and editing styles to keep content fresh and competitive.
- Manage multiple editing projects with fast turnarounds and tight deadlines.
- Repurpose long-form content into cutdowns and highlights for social use.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience editing content specifically for social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects or other motion graphics tools.
- A strong portfolio and showreel that demonstrate storytelling, pacing, and creative editing techniques.
- Understanding of content strategy, YouTube/TikTok best practices, and how to edit for retention and engagement.
- Ability to incorporate brand identity into video edits while remaining platform-appropriate and trend-savvy.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume content environment with quick turnarounds.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
