The Role

We’re currently recruiting an Video Editor to be part of our post-production team delivering world-class content for Spurs' social platforms and commercial partners. We’re looking for a talented new video editor with a can-do attitude, who's excited to learn and grow whilst contributing to some of the world's most viewed football content.

Reporting to the Senior Editor & Post Production Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in cutting a variety of short and mid form content including behind-the-scenes, podcasts, match highlights, PR, commercial and more. They will also play an important role in maintaining the organization of our media library and the sharing of video assets with our key stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, applicants much submit links to at least two examples of video editing work. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Due to the nature of football, the role will occasionally require out of hours working commitments to support specific events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit a variety of short and mid form content, applying skills for storytelling, colour grading and sound design.
  • Assembling edit projects and sequences for large-scale content (i.e. documentaries etc.) by syncing multiple audio channels and camera angles efficiently.
  • Assist the post-production team in maintaining our extensive media library by ingesting rushes, logging footage, managing project files and archiving our finished content.
  • Search for, prepare and deliver requested video files to our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Export and deliver files in various formats and resolutions optimised for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok etc.)
  • Edit highlights of our Academy team matches (occasional evening/weekend remote work required).

About You

  • Organized, reactive and reliable under deadlines.
  • Value collaboration, be quick to learn, and embrace creative feedback.
  • Able to work autonomously within a supportive team.
  • A keen eye for detail, specifically around the accuracy of information and file names.
  • Professional and discreet with confidential football business.
  • An interest and passion for football desirable but not essential.

What you will bring

  • Experienced editing video in a creative environment: Media, Sport or Entertainment industries.
  • Fully proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, with basic grading and sound mixing skills.
  • Good understanding of video aspect ratios and codecs.
  • Basic understanding of media management tools and a willingness to learn more.
  • Experience syncing multi-camera footage and multiple audio channels.
  • An encyclopaedic knowledge of football is not essential, however, the ability to accurately research details about the Club, our players and staff, and our football activity is crucial.
