Overview

We’re looking for someone to join our in-house Film and Photography team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of video projects, working with a friendly, supportive, and talented creative team.

You’ll focus on editing a wide range of content, from event promotions and social media clips to documentaries and campaign films. Beyond editing, you’ll also be an integral part of our shoots, helping with everything from monitoring camera feeds to assisting with basic production duties and managing equipment. You’ll also play a crucial role in keeping our team’s processes and systems running smoothly, including assisting with administration and managing our Digital Asset Library.

You’ll have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to bring incredible stories to life, so strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Edit video content across a range of projects, including event promotions, social media clips, documentaries, and campaign films.
  • Support shoots by monitoring camera feeds, assisting with basic production tasks, and managing equipment.
  • Assist with administration and maintain the Digital Asset Library.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure storytelling aligns with brand guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Confident using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video content.
  • Experience in colour grading and audio restoration.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a good eye for detail and ability to follow brand guidelines (include a link to your portfolio or send a copy to HR@prostatecanceruk.org).
  • Good understanding of creating content for different channels, especially social media formats.
  • Organised, reliable, and willing to pitch in across editing, shoots, and admin.
  • Proactive, takes initiative, and can hit the ground running.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues across the organisation.
  • Desirable: experience shooting film/photography at small events, knowledge of social media video formats and optimisation, and basic motion graphics or animation skills using Adobe After Effects.
