About the Role

Milkman Agency is seeking a talented Video Content Creator with a passion for 'social media first' content to join our creative team. This role will focus on creative social content creation and ideation, where you will create high-impact short and long form videos for digital platforms, campaigns, and brand initiatives, while also coming up with creative ideas for episodic video series.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and with global brands, as well as local businesses to make a key difference, ensuring consistency and creativity in all visual outputs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and pitch creative video concepts for social media, social campaigns, and brand storytelling.
2. Ideate and storyboard content, ensuring alignment with brand identities and objectives.
3. Brief and collaborate with in-house and on-site videographers, overseeing shoots as needed.
4. Edit and refine video content into final exports, incorporating motion graphics, sound design, and animation.
5. Stay updated on social, video, and engagement trends to bring fresh ideas to content.
6. Have your finger on the pulse with new AI and tech to streamline and execute work.
7. Bonus: Confident directing, filming or presenting in front of the camera for the likes of vox pops and street interviews for various clients.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

1. Expertise in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut and other video/motion tools.
2. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for graphic design.
3. Sound design skills are required.
4. Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
5. Ability to learn and adapt to using different programs and AI technology.

Creative & Professional Skills

1. Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to translate ideas into impactful visual designs and videos.
2. A keen eye for detail, typography, colour, and layout.
3. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with Paramount Liquor Group’s marketing and creative teams.
5. A passion for storytelling through motion and graphic design.

Experience

1. 5+ years of experience in content production or video editing, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
2. Previous experience in branding, digital marketing, or advertising is desirable.
