Job summary

Kings Place is seeking a Video & Broadcast Producer to lead the delivery, editing and management of video content across the venue. The role oversees the full production workflow from ingest to delivery and storage.

Working acrossProgramming, Production, Marketing and Technical departments, you will coordinate projects, manage freelancers, and act as the lead contact for video production. Evening/weekend flexibility is required.

Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Video & Broadcast Producer to lead the delivery, editing and management of video content across Kings Place.

Job Description

This hands-on role is responsible for producing high-quality video content from artistic performances, conferences and promotional projects, ensuring all output meets agreed technical and creative standards. You will oversee the full production workflow, from media ingest and editing through to delivery, archiving and long-term storage.

Working closely with colleagues across Programming, Production, Marketing and Technical departments, you will coordinate video projects, manage freelance and casual camera operators, and act as the venue’s lead contact for video production. You will also maintain and develop Kings Place’s filming, livestreaming and media storage infrastructure, helping to ensure our digital content reaches audiences with the same quality and impact as our live programmes.

Salary:£30,000 per annum (£37,500 FTE) at 0.8 FTE/4 days per week

Contract:Permanent, part-time (0.8 FTE, 4 days per week)

Job Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised video professional who combines strong technical expertise with creative flair and excellent project management skills. The ideal candidate will have substantial professional experience in video editing and post-production, with a strong portfolio of delivered work and advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro. You will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining rigorous quality control standards and delivering work to tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

You will have experience of filming and livestreaming live events, working with professional camera systems, video networks and shared media storage environments. Experience supervising freelancers or casual technical staff is essential, as is the ability to communicate confidently with artists, colleagues and clients.

Experience of classical, jazz or contemporary music performance, motion graphics, DaVinci Resolve, NDI video systems, and conference or corporate event production would be advantageous.

The role requires flexibility, including some evening and weekend work, and would suit someone who is passionate about the arts and excited by the opportunity to help shape and grow Kings Place’s digital and broadcast output.
