Job Description:

Catch22’s Greater Manchester Victim Services is seeking a dedicated Victim Care Specialist – Fraud & Finance to provide person-centred support to victims of fraud and economic crime. The role involves working with victims, navigating the criminal justice system, designing preventative sessions, and collaborating with partners like Action Fraud and GMP. The position offers an opportunity to shape victim services within Catch22's expanding Victim Service.

Qualifications
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) – essential
  • Relevant qualification in victim support or economic crime – desirable
Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable individuals
  • Strong understanding of fraud and economic crime victimisation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads and collaborate with agencies
  • Experience delivering awareness sessions and designing interventions
  • Empathetic and solutions-focused approach
Other Requirements
  • Flexibility to work in community settings and outside standard hours
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
Additional Information

The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week), with a salary of £27,000. The location is hybrid, with 2 days at GMP Force HQ and 3 days remote or in the community.
