Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Vice Principal for Quality of Education to lead and elevate the educational experience at a South Yorkshire secondary academy. You will work closely with the Principal to shape strategic development, implement the Astrea Way, and drive excellence across teaching and learning.

You will coach senior leaders, use data to inform improvements, and ensure inclusive practices that raise outcomes for all scholars.

Qualifications

• Proven school improver with a track record of raising standards at scale.
• Strong data literacy and ability to translate data into action.
• Strategic thinker capable of influencing and leading transformational change.
• Experienced in coaching and mentoring leaders and staff.
• Deep knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy to raise outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality of Education agenda within the academy and drive strategic development.
• Collaborate with the Principal on day-to-day leadership and improvement initiatives.
• Embed the Astrea Way and QofE Frameworks to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Line manage senior leaders and develop curriculum leaders across the academy.
• Champion inclusive education and support disadvantaged scholars to thrive.
