Vice Principal - Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. Start date: January 2026 or May 2026. Interview Date(s): The likely dates for interviews will be 14th and 15th October 2025. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative Vice Principal for Curriculum, Teaching and Learning to be part of our highly motivated Leadership Team at our vibrant and forward thinking academy. The role is available to start either January 2026 or May 2026.

The role of Vice Principal (VP) is a vital one for the academy. It is a strategic leadership role where the VP leads on a significant aspect of the academy, with others, to ensure it impacts positively on student achievement and other outcomes, the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom, the quality of provision matched to need and the necessary support for students to achieve. As Vice Principal, under the direction of the Principal, you will work on developing and delivering the aims of the Academy Development Plan, particularly relating to Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. You will ensure the Quality of Education provision across the Academy is highly effective including oversight of teaching and learning practice and CPD programmes. Ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum is in place across all subject areas. The post holder will drive our agenda to secure the best possible personal and academic experience for our students.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include leading on Curriculum, Teaching and Learning across the academy, contributing to the development and implementation of the Academy Development Plan, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, monitoring CPD programmes, and ensuring a broad and balanced curriculum across all subject areas.
