Carlisle College is seeking an exceptional and inspiring Vice Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team at a pivotal time in our development. As we prepare for further devolution in the adult skills landscape across Cumbria and beyond, we need a dynamic leader ready to drive innovation, growth and excellence.
As Vice Principal, you will play a key strategic role in shaping the college’s future as we launch our new strategic plan. A strong grasp of quality improvement, curriculum development and performance management will be essential to raising standards and delivering outstanding outcomes. You will provide leadership and oversight of our Apprenticeships and Adult Education provision, ensuring high quality and responsiveness to learner, employer and regional needs.
You will also lead on data and performance management systems, ensuring data is accurate, timely and used intelligently to inform decision-making at all levels. Your ability to turn data into action will be central to our quality and strategic planning processes.
We are seeking an experienced senior leader from a FE or HE background, who understands the evolving post-16 education environment – someone prepared to engage with devolved funding structures, regional skills priorities and employer engagement, to ensure Carlisle College remains agile, ambitious and impactful.
