About this role

This role is within Preqin, part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients worldwide, complementing the Aladdin technology platform to deliver comprehensive investment solutions.

The Private Markets Data Engineering team is a cross-functional group responsible for innovating how we acquire, manage, and distribute Private Markets data using the latest technologies.

We are seeking a Vice President-level Product Manager to lead the delivery of a new product for Private Markets Data Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an AI-driven user interface solution for Data Operators.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, translating business problems into detailed requirements.
  • Identify major opportunities and develop a strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define strategic goals and delivery methods.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders for continuous product development.
  • Understand stakeholder workflows and develop solutions to meet their goals.
  • Track and analyze relevant metrics to improve products.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, SMEs, and other Product Managers to align and execute on goals.
  • Develop iteratively, sharing feedback with stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Mentor other Product Managers within the team.
Requirements:
  • Experience in evolving technology product visions, requirements gathering, and implementation.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams within a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, capable of navigating ambiguity and taking initiative.
  • Focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience analyzing datasets to derive insights for product development.
  • Experience collaborating with developers.
