We are seeking a Product Owner for our Payments Enablement team in Treasury Services, located in Manchester - Hybrid.
The Product Owner will lead either the Payment Initiation or Reference Data feature group within the User Interface Functions Product Group. Responsibilities include defining and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and working closely with the development team to ensure successful delivery. The role involves understanding user needs, prioritizing solutions to maximize business value, and guiding performance measurement for the capabilities.
For Payment Initiation, responsibilities include designing and launching capabilities for business users to execute critical payments. For Reference Data, responsibilities include designing features that enable configuration of payment experiences for external clients and internal users.
Key impact areas include:
- Working with stakeholders to prioritize features delivering high business value
- Partnering with UX and Engineering teams to improve user experience
- Defining specifications and measurement strategies for features
- Managing dependencies and coordinating product launches
- Addressing product issues and recommending improvements
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in product management, agile methodology, and financial services
- Experience in digital transformation preferred
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
