Job Description: VP, People & Culture Business Partnering

The VP, People & Culture Business Partnering will serve as a member of the P&C senior leadership team, responsible for delivering P&C services across the business. This individual will develop and align P&C strategies with Aristocrat’s regional vision, values, and core business objectives. The role involves being a strategic and tactical leader on initiatives related to culture, learning and development, performance management, talent acquisition, and total rewards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Enhance, implement, and deploy contemporary human resources strategies, policies, and practices to improve overall business effectiveness.
  2. Act as a trusted adviser and thought partner on operational and strategic issues, driving workforce planning aligned with business needs.
  3. Provide guidance on growth initiatives, including M&A and integration of people and processes.
  4. Recommend and implement effective P&C solutions in collaboration with global colleagues, leveraging best practices.
  5. Influence leadership by establishing credibility and trust across the organization, aligning with Aristocrat’s goals.
  6. Communicate the employee value proposition effectively, tying it to business KPIs.
  7. Oversee performance management processes, recognizing top performance and coaching underperformers.
  8. Contribute to creating a positive work culture, integrating Aristocrat values daily.
  9. Promote diversity and inclusion practices sincerely and consistently.
  10. Assess organizational climate and implement changes to boost employee engagement.
  11. Develop talent management strategies to attract, retain, and motivate staff, focusing on efficient talent acquisition.
  12. Guide restructuring, workforce planning, including offshore, to optimize staffing.
  13. Identify solutions to workplace issues through data analysis and observation.
  14. Cultivate a culture valuing diversity, inclusion, and equity.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of P&C information.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Deep generalist P&C background in media, entertainment, gaming, or fast-moving consumer sectors.
  • Proven success in diagnosing organizational and individual issues, supporting cultural shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and engage effectively.
  • Strong strategic talent management and execution skills.
  • Passion for fostering workplace cultures that support top talent.
  • Strong organizational planning, benchmarking, and development skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive accountability across the organization.
  • Fluency with HR IT systems and programs to improve efficiencies.
  • Accountability with a focus on both short- and long-term business goals.
  • Results-oriented problem solver with a balance of strategic thinking and operational delivery.
