VP of Engineering

Remote Europe (Everywhere included)

$180-220k base + equity + tokens

FutureTech Recruitment is partnered with an AI Blockchain startup located in Europe. They’re a driving force in co-owning AI systems. They’re looking to bring on a VP of Engineering, located in Europe, to help scale their product and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead software architecture decisions that align with the company’s technical vision, balancing speed, reliability, and security.
• Establish and uphold high-quality software engineering processes and standards.
• Design and implement systems to monitor product reliability, with emphasis on agents and the desktop application
• Partner with the CTO to lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to manage the full R&D lifecycle—from concept to launch—helping shape the roadmap and resource planning with Delivery support.
• Coordinate teams and resources to deliver key outcomes, managing project scopes with a high degree of autonomy
• Represent the company externally with customers, partners, and at industry events to help strengthen market presence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2+ years leading teams in a start-up/scale-up
• Strong track record of executing at a high level in technical leadership roles.
• Hands-on with Python, Typescript
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in or have strong knowledge of the crypto space.
• Equity + tokens in a fast-growing, exciting start-up
• Working with an extremely high-level team
