Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Vice President, Marketing, plays a key role in IMG’s marketing—both external marketing and internal engagement initiatives targeting IMG’s employees. The role requires deep marketing expertise and the ability to collaborate and deliver programs within a large, matrixed organization.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Developing an annual Marketing Strategy and Budget aligned with IMG’s vision and business priorities, including brand awareness and understanding of IMG’s new brand and value proposition.
  2. Delivering a brand engagement strategy for employees and clients/partners.
  3. Implementing multiple marketing initiatives leveraging digital media, events, partnerships, and more, with reporting and analysis of impact.
  4. Creating and managing external communications, including Quarterly Product campaigns.
  5. Managing IMG’s Events Program and hospitality to strengthen relationships across the sports ecosystem.
  6. Owning IMG’s Workplace Engagement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent, and to enhance skillsets and knowledge.
  7. Using insights and research (e.g., NPS surveys) to anticipate stakeholder needs.
  8. Maintaining and optimizing IMG’s digital presence, infrastructure, and digital assets, including native content programs.
  9. Leading IMG’s in-house creative and design teams and resource allocation.
  10. Managing the marketing budget effectively.
  11. Motivating, inspiring, and managing a large team.
  12. Contributing to IMG’s media management to grow share of voice and clarify value proposition.
  13. Understanding market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities.
  14. Performing other duties within the role’s scope as needed.

Knowledge and Experience

Deep expertise in B2B and B2C marketing, with successful experience in campaigns, high-profile events, partnerships, and brand strategy. Proven ability to manage large teams and budgets, develop impactful strategies, and execute multiple initiatives. Experience in brand evolution projects, insight generation, and within the sports/entertainment industry is preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Strong marketing expertise, leadership, creativity, impact analysis, collaboration, entrepreneurial spirit, interpersonal skills, organization, communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
