Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Vice President, Marketing, will play a key role in IMG’s marketing efforts—both external and internal engagement initiatives targeting IMG’s employees. The role requires deep marketing expertise and the ability to collaborate and deliver programs within a large, matrixed organization.
The responsibilities include:
- Developing an annual Marketing Strategy and Budget aligned with IMG’s vision and business priorities, including increasing awareness of IMG’s new brand and value proposition.
- Implementing a brand engagement strategy to ensure employees and clients/partners connect with IMG’s brand and value proposition.
- Leading multiple marketing initiatives leveraging digital media, events, partnerships, and more, with reporting to demonstrate impact.
- Creating a top-tier external communications program, including quarterly product campaigns.
- Managing IMG’s Events Program and hospitality to strengthen relationships within the sports ecosystem.
- Owning IMG’s Workplace Engagement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent, and to enhance skillsets and knowledge.
- Using insights and research, such as NPS surveys, to anticipate and exceed stakeholder needs.
- Maintaining and optimizing IMG’s digital presence, infrastructure, and digital assets, including native content to support earned media strategies.
- Leading IMG’s in-house creative and design teams, and resource allocation.
- Managing the marketing budget effectively to deliver initiatives within budget.
- Motivating, inspiring, and managing a large team.
- Contributing to IMG’s media management to grow share of voice and communicate value.
- Understanding market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities.
- Performing other related duties as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Deep expertise in B2B and B2C marketing.
- Experience in developing and executing impactful marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships.
- Knowledge of branding, brand strategy, and rollout of brand assets.
- Experience managing large marketing teams and budgets.
- Strategic planning and program management skills.
- Experience in insight generation and stakeholder surveys.
- Proven leadership in recruiting, motivating, and managing teams.
- Experience leading rebranding or brand evolution projects.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and project management skills.
- Ability to innovate and test new strategies.
- Industry experience in sports, entertainment, or related fields is preferred.
