Job Description:

This is a new, global role within Columbia Threadneedle Investments' Investment Business Management team. You will support operational risk management activities, overseeing risk functions, liaising with risk teams, and promoting a risk-aware culture. Your work will impact risk mitigation, compliance, and change management across the investment business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic planning and leadership: Develop and align operational risk strategies with organizational goals, fostering a proactive risk culture.
2. Risk mitigation and control: Lead risk assessments, manage controls, and ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain risk documentation and monitor mitigation effectiveness.
3. Reporting and communication: Provide risk reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of risk activities.
4. Incident management and response: Coordinate incident responses, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Training and development: Educate team members on risk management practices and promote continuous learning.
6. Change management: Lead initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during change events, including risk assessments for new projects.
7. Support business continuity and vendor risk management: Assist in planning and oversight.

Required Qualifications
