You will oversee financial modelling, due diligence, and transaction documentation while guiding Associates and junior bankers. Collaboration with clients and senior bankers is central to delivering successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior Vice President or Director on an IB/M&A platform.

We are working with an exceptionally busy Investment Banking team looking to add an experienced Senior Vice President or Director with a strong track record of M&A execution across Technology, TMT, Software and related verticals.

The team continues to benefit from significant deal flow, a strong pipeline of live mandates and sustained transaction activity across its core sectors. The priority is to bring in a senior banker who remains closely involved in the detail of transactions, can take ownership of complex execution processes and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

This opportunity is particularly suited to individuals who enjoy being hands-on throughout the deal lifecycle, driving transactions forward and maintaining high execution standards across multiple live mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A transactions from initial engagement through to signing and completion.
• Take ownership of live mandates, driving transaction processes forward and ensuring key milestones are met.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence, financial analysis and preparation of transaction materials.
• Manage the preparation and review of pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations and other deal-related documentation.
• Coordinate due diligence processes, manage data room activity and oversee interactions with clients, buyers, legal advisers and other transaction stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent transactions, maintaining attention to detail and execution quality under tight deadlines.
• Provide hands-on guidance to Associates and junior team members, reviewing their work and ensuring consistently high standards.
• Work closely with senior bankers and clients to navigate complex transaction processes, resolve execution challenges and drive deals towards completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently operating at Senior Vice President or Director level within an Investment Banking or M&A advisory platform.
• Strong, demonstrable experience executing M&A transactions across Technology, TMT, Software or related sectors.
• A proven track record of managing live deals and taking ownership of the execution process from start to finish.
• Strong technical capabilities across financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and transaction documentation.
• Comfortable operating at pace across multiple live mandates, with the ability to remain close to the detail while overseeing broader execution.
• Experience managing and reviewing the work of junior bankers within demanding deal environments.
• A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to drive transactions forward with limited oversight.
