Your Role

Capgemini Invent Energy Transition and Utilities is the largest sector in our private portfolio, with a strong presence across five subsectors (Nuclear, Water, Networks, Energy Retail, and Energy Transition). You will work on high-profile projects helping clients develop scalable energy and water infrastructure for a low-carbon, sustainable future.

We seek an experienced senior leader with a background in capital projects or asset-intensive industries, strong business improvement skills, and an understanding of digitization in capital project delivery to reduce costs and meet shareholder commitments. You will collaborate with digital engineers, business consultants, industry experts, and technology specialists to lead and grow a market-leading business.

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting strategic direction as part of the ET&U Leadership team.
• Managing relationships with CXO-level stakeholders, including CEOs, CFOs, and capital alliance leads.
• Leading proactive lead generation and contributing to sales.
• Managing programme and project delivery with large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Overseeing commercial and project performance.
• Coaching, developing, and managing team members.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to business development, internal initiatives, and personal growth through activities such as:

• Leading proposals, RFPs, bids, and client pitches.
• Participating in internal campaigns, think-tanks, whitepapers, and practice development.
• Engaging in training, certifications, and career development activities.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in capital projects or asset-intensive industries, with knowledge of project management, design, manufacturing, supply chain, and asset management processes.
• Experience demonstrating TOTEX improvements in capital delivery.
• Familiarity with industry standards like BIM and policies for developing best-in-class solutions.
• Experience deploying technology solutions for integrated and automated workflows.
• Background working in consulting or implementing internal improvements within organizations.
• Current employment in a major consulting firm or industry, with a proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organization and to secure support for consulting solutions.
• Experience in proposition building and delivery.
• Business development: Generating approximately €4 million in consulting revenues through leveraging relationships and networks.
