Job summary

Carlyle AlpInvest in London seeks a Vice President to lead the portfolio finance and credit secondary investment efforts, collaborating with senior professionals to evaluate and execute transactions.

You will oversee due diligence, structure deals, mentor teammates and communicate results to investors while supporting fundraising in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 4–8 years of experience in portfolio finance, private credit or credit secondaries.
• Advanced financial modeling capability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position Summary Carlyle AlpInvest is seeking to hire a Vice President within its Secondary and Portfolio Finance team focused on Portfolio Finance and Credit Secondary investments. Since 2018, Carlyle AlpInvest’s Secondaries and Portfolio Finance platform has provided credit-oriented capital solutions to sponsors and owners of private equity and credit assets. Carlyle AlpInvest provides a range of NAV-based loans, preferred equity and structured equity financings for private equity and credit funds, GP management companies and LP portfolios. Carlyle AlpInvest also pursues a broad range of credit secondary investments including continuation funds, strategic GP solutions and LP credit secondary purchases. As Carlyle AlpInvest further scales the strategy, we are looking to hire additional mid-level resources within the investment team.
