One of our homebuilder clients is seeking a Project Manager to join their management team.

Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects from pre-construction through to post-occupancy. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while upholding standards for quality and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager serves as a key liaison between internal departments, trade partners, consultants, municipalities, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project schedules, establish and manage budgets, coordinate permitting and approvals, provide cost reviews, review drawings, and suggest value engineering.
  • Construction Oversight: Work with site supervisors, ensure quality and safety, resolve issues, conduct site visits, and manage invoices and reports.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain communication with internal teams, manage relationships with external partners, and update management.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Manage contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain project documentation.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Mentor project staff, foster collaboration, and promote professional growth.

Working Conditions: Mainly office-based with remote work flexibility, occasional site travel, and participation in leadership meetings.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management or estimating experience in residential construction.
  • PMP or Gold Seal certification is an asset.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and understanding of low-rise construction sequencing.

Soft Skills: Organizational, leadership, communication skills, multitasking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
