• Responsibilities:
• Prepare Project Budget Control reports to identify the approved budgets and forecasted total project costs.
• Participate in consultant meetings, monitor the process and consultants’ minutes, and send reports to the Head Office.
• Prepare and oversee purchase orders to trades.
• Establish initial project requirements including resources needed.
• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials, and equipment; track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review work progress daily.
• Prepare internal and external reports on job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues.
• Negotiate terms, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality standards and proper construction techniques.
• Maintain up-to-date best practices and implement standard project management procedures.

• Requirements:
• 15 years of experience in construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and standards.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and regulations.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Ability to plan and see the big picture.
• Conflict and crisis management skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
