BluePearl Pet Hospital in Malvern, PA is hiring a Part-Time Medical Oncology Veterinary Technician.

Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and eager to enhance your skills? Do you want to work alongside some of the brightest veterinary professionals?

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, quick thinkers, dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Preferably, you have at least two years of experience in a specialty veterinary hospital. Responsibilities include patient treatment and monitoring, supporting clinicians with patient care, and communicating effectively with clients.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform physical exams and monitor vital signs
  • Recognize normal and abnormal parameters and alert the doctor accordingly
  • Place peripheral IV catheters
  • Calculate medical dosages
  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy agents safely
  • Manage oncology patients, including admission, discharge, and client education
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Assist with anesthesia and monitoring as needed
