I’m working with a lovely, independent, family-run first opinion small animal and exotics practice, nestled in a classic seaside town with sandy beaches and breathtaking coastal scenery.
They’re on the lookout for a true team player – someone who enjoys a laugh, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, and values a family atmosphere – to join their growing team of vets, RVNs, and receptionists. Here, colleagues and clients alike are treated as part of the family. Both experienced vets and enthusiastic less experienced Vets encouraged to apply!
You’ll be working alongside an inspiring Head Vet who holds two certificates – one in Exotics and another in Veterinary Anaesthesiology – with a special interest in nutritional bone disease. Whether you’re looking to specialise or simply develop your skills, you’ll have outstanding support, with certificates not only encouraged but fully funded.
Facilities include:
Brand-new ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopic kit, and an extensive range of equipment to treat both small animals and exotics – from rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets, to lizards, snakes, turtles, birds, and amphibians.
Rota:
• 4 days a week
• No OOH
• Only 6 Saturdays a year
• Rare sole charge
The Package:
• Salary up to £65,000 DOE
• Regular pay reviews – every 6 months (every 3 months for new grads)
• Uncapped CPD allowance over 5 days (Graduate Academy available for new grads)
• Fully funded certificates
