  • Become part of a friendly, supportive team where many colleagues are pursuing further certifications, creating a vibrant environment for continuous learning.
  • Enjoy a diverse and rewarding caseload that allows you to grow your clinical expertise and pursue areas of special interest, such as dentistry.
  • Earn a competitive salary of up to €55,000 DOE, along with a generous benefits package in a practice that truly values your development and wellbeing.

Are you ready to take the next exciting step in your veterinary career in a well-established, supportive, and forward thinking practice? This fantastic opportunity at a thriving small animal hospital in the heart of Wexford could be just what you're looking for!

This dedicated small animal practice is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to its loyal and growing client base. Housed in a modern, purpose built facility, the hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical tools, including digital and dental x-ray machines, ultrasound, Idexx blood analysers, a spacious prep area, and two separate operating suites. Patients are treated in thoughtfully designed cat and dog wards, and the generously sized consultation rooms and warm, welcoming reception space ensure a comfortable experience for pets and their owners alike.

You’ll be joining a close knit, friendly team of 4 full time and 1 part time Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Veterinary Nurses, and 3 helpful front of house staff. Many of the team members are actively pursuing or awaiting certifications in areas such as dentistry, surgery, and internal medicine – reflecting a culture where continuous learning and professional development are genuinely encouraged.

This role offers exposure to a diverse and rewarding caseload that will allow you to build on your existing skills or flourish as a newly qualified vet. While prior experience is preferred, enthusiastic and capable new graduates with strong hands on experience are also encouraged to apply. A keen interest in dentistry is a bonus and will be highly regarded.

In return, you’ll enjoy the chance to work in a well-equipped and respected hospital setting, with a generous salary and benefits package tailored to your level of experience. This is more than a job – it’s a chance to be part of a truly collaborative and compassionate team where your growth and wellbeing are valued as highly as the care you provide.
