Veterinary Surgeon - West Yorkshire

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a vibrant, progressive thinking, 100% small animal practice in the heart of beautiful rural West Yorkshire. This purpose built, tier 2 practice combines an idyllic countryside setting with cutting edge facilities, creating the perfect environment for both professional growth and excellent patient care.

The practice is exceptionally well-equipped, boasting a full in-house lab, ultrasound with echocardiography, digital radiography (including dental), endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, ortho kit for TTA and TPLO, laser therapy, tonometry, ECG, stance analyser, PRP centrifuge, and a slit lamp biomicroscope. With such a wide range of facilities at your fingertips, you’ll have everything you need to deliver outstanding clinical work and pursue areas of interest.

The nursing team is second to none, highly skilled and supportive, and the practice is proud to be a nurse training facility. CPD is actively encouraged, with colleagues holding certificates in Medicine, ECC, Surgery, and GP – and two more currently pursuing further specialisms in ophthalmology and medicine. You’ll be working alongside a friendly, long standing team, with some members having been part of the practice for over 20 years, reflecting the supportive and enjoyable workplace culture.

Accredited as a Dog Friendly Practice and holding Silver ISFM Cat Friendly status, the team take pride in delivering a truly caring, patient-focused service. The Rota

  • Full time position
  • 4 day wee
  • 1:3 Saturday mornings
  • No OOH or on-call!
