Your working environment is as unique as our standalone practice, converted from a fire station! This provides more space to equip with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and deliver high clinical standards. Our loyal client base offers potential for growth, with cases worked up locally. Our team includes a full-time Lead Vet, 4 RVNs, 1 VCA, and 1 SVN.

Hemsworth Vets4Pets is accessible via nearby bus stops and a short walk from the larger bus station, with excellent links to Barnsley, Wakefield, Pontefract, and Doncaster. It’s also close to the M1 and A1, providing easy access to Leeds, Manchester, and Sheffield.

The area features attractions like Nostell Priory, with its historic Georgian house, renowned dolls' house, and extensive gardens and parkland. This position offers fully flexible hours, full or part-time (minimum 24 hours), with weekends on a fair rota shared with the team.

We seek a vet who will bring energy to drive growth, supported by an experienced network. You should have small animal experience as a general practitioner, excellent people skills, be comfortable with sole charge, and enjoy teamwork.

Standard benefits include a salary up to £65,000 FTE + £5,000 welcome/relocation bonus, pension, healthcare, paid memberships, career progression, and discounts (up to 30% at Pets at Home). Relocation packages and visa sponsorship are available, as we are an A+ rated sponsor.
