Veterinary Surgeon (Endoscopy / Laparoscopy Interest) – Walsall

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Best UK Vets 2024 award winning practice in Birmingham – a dynamic, forward thinking team on a mission to become the most trusted and respected primary care provider in the region. This is a full-time role in the blended setting of primary care and referrals, and it would be particularly ideal for candidates with a passion for advanced procedures, including medical endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. You’ll be supported with tailored training to expand your skillset, contribute to both primary and referral caseloads, and work flexibly to accommodate your lifestyle, including childcare considerations.

Equipped with cutting edge technology, including ventilator supported anaesthesia, laser therapy (surgical and therapeutic), rapid cancer diagnostics, an in-house laboratory, and facilities for both diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and laparoscopy, this practice sets a high standard in patient care. Whether you have a passion for medical endoscopy or advanced laparoscopic procedures, you’ll be supported to develop and thrive, working closely alongside a skilled team of 4 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 10 dedicated support staff.

Looking ahead, the practice is expanding its surgical facilities next year, including a dedicated ortho suite, laparoscopy suite, and dental suite, offering fantastic opportunities to further develop your clinical skills and specialise in advanced surgical procedures.
