Job Description:

• Part time permanent opportunity working weekends only
• No out of hours
• No sole charge

We are looking to recruit a Weekend Veterinary Surgeon to join a first opinion small animal practice in Norwich, Norfolk.

• Part time, 15 hours/week, working 9am-6pm on Saturdays and 10:30am-4:30pm on Sundays.
• Practice is purpose-built with ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, slit lamp, gonioscope, tonometry, orthopaedic kit, multi-parameter units for theatre, and full in-house lab.
• The role suits an experienced, competent, and confident Veterinary Surgeon; it could also be consult-only if desired.
• Join an experienced, supportive team with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology.
• CPD allowance and support towards certificates.
• Paid RCVS, BVA memberships, and VDS fees.

Located in Norwich, near the Norfolk coast, Norfolk Broads, and about 2 hours from London.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Experienced, competent, and confident Veterinary Surgeon
