Job Description:

• Varied caseload including orthopaedic, complex soft tissue, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Ideally, you will be confident with routine medical and surgical cases.
• The role offers excellent clinical progression opportunities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a successful small animal practice in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

• Full-time position with some Saturday mornings on a rota; no Sundays or OOH work.
• Practice is purpose-built with modern facilities and equipment, including corneal diamond burr, high-spec ultrasound, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical equipment, endosurgery, laparoscopy, etc.
• Interesting and varied caseload, including orthopaedic and complex soft tissue surgeries, laparoscopy.
• Suitable for an experienced vet confident with routine medical and surgical cases.
• Comfortable with some sole charge is preferred.
• Offers excellent clinical progression opportunities.
• Potential future partnership options.
• CPD funding and certificate study support.
• Paid RCVS, VDS, BVA memberships.
• Located in Wakefield, with good transport links and access to Leeds.

What You Need To Apply

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Good routine medical and surgical skills.
