Job Description:

• Experienced Vet Surgeon confident working sole charge
• Opportunity for hospital based shifts if desired
• Support from experienced colleagues at nearby branches

We have a new opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a first opinion small animal practice in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

• Full-time permanent role, 4 days a week, with 1 in 4 weekend rota, no OOH.
• Established, successful, and well-equipped practice.
• Suitable for an experienced Vet Surgeon confident working sole charge and team-oriented.
• Support from experienced colleagues and certificate holders at other branches.
• Option for hospital shifts involving advanced cases.
• CPD funding, RCVS +2 memberships, VDS fees paid.
• Located conveniently in Wakefield with good transport links and nearby countryside and coast.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Experience in practice
• Confident working sole charge
• Enjoys working in a small, close-knit team
