Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon
• Good surgical skills and Dentistry experience are advantageous
• Funding towards certificates available

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing, successful first opinion small animal veterinary practice in Southend, Essex.

• Full-time permanent position with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota, no Sundays, no OOH
• Practice is purpose-built, well-equipped, modern, and spacious, including ultrasound (4 probes), endoscope, in-house laboratory, x-ray machine, and dental equipment
• Ideal candidate will be experienced with good surgical skills; Dentistry experience is a plus
• CPD allowance and funding towards certificates provided
• Paid RCVS, BVA memberships, and VDS fees
• Join a friendly, close-knit, and experienced team
• Located near the Essex coast with excellent transport links, free on-site parking, Southend Airport nearby, and direct trains to London in under an hour

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
